The ProCair® Bariatric Mattress Replacement System is an advanced 1-in-4 alternation cycle mattress that supports a 450kg safe working load during active therapy, delivering a solution for high- to very-high-risk patients with higher weight requirements.
The ProCair® Bariatric features HeelCair for increased protection and therapy of vulnerable heels, with an independent heel zone composed of narrower cells that can be disconnected as required. The Fowler Boost mode automatically adjusts the mattress pressure to provide increased support under the sacral area when the backrest is raised. Concerns about correct pressure level settings are eased by AutoCair, a continuous, automatic weight-sensing technology that adjusts pressure settings to keep the client within a safe pressure range for effective therapy, delivering fail-safe patient comfort and support. An inbuilt BackUp Battery unit provides the reassurance of up to 3 hours of emergency backup power in the event of a power failure or accidental power disconnection.
The ProCair® Bariatric Mattress Replacement System is equipped with an in-built service indicator that makes for worry-free maintenance. Benefit from maximum infection control with a fully sealed base, designed to minimise the risk of bacterial contamination and maximise patient care and safety in an acute care environment. The ProCair® Bariatric Mattress Replacement System also features safety side bolsters for increased support and a quick-twist CPR valve. The cable management system ensures cords are neatly secured along either side of the mattress to reduce the risk of trips and potential damage to power cords.
